Ashley lay in luscious fields of grass, eyes glued to the sky, watching ships pass by. Eden Prime was dreamlike, and people would’ve died to come here. And that’s what happened that fateful day.

She shuddered, thinking about how the geth wiped out her unit and how she was the sole survivor. At least she got to meet Shepard, a fearless and kind woman.

Ashley sat straight. If she were still alive, Eden Prime would’ve been less a nightmare and more of a dream. Maybe they could’ve been more than friends.

A ship flew by.

“Come back to me, Shepard.”
